I know, what are you thinking? It is absolutely fine to lose games, but not winning a single medal is actually a disaster for a team that has never performed badly since 2009.
So, what happened in 2009? It was nothing but dedicated and good players and obviously the motivation to win and be better.
Now, as the team is, you know, has become habituated to winning every time, this might have made them believe that they were going to win again without putting in the necessary efforts.
It is pretty evident that they were wrong.

Anja Parson was a spectacular player. She never disappointed her team and her country. Anja has had 42 wins in her career. Back at that time, she was always in the news for winning gold medals.
Trust me; it is not at all an easy job. Sadly, the player decided to retire in 2012 when she hit 30. It was fine because sports work differently. Players start their journey from an early age, and they can hardly play till 40.
But in that short span of time, she has given the country, name, fame, and money too. But when the former player saw that the team was not what it used to be or was supposed to be, she got angry.
Anja’s Comment on the Swedish Alpine Skier Team
It is the first time in history that the Swedish team has received no medals. Yes, you have heard this right. This made Anja very upset, and she commented that continuous winning was the reason behind this failure.
The team is slowly becoming overconfident and has been taking success for granted. I hope that they will listen to her carefully and perform just like before next time.
